MILAN, Italy, Feb. 28, 2023 — Microduct CableThe Prysmian Group has extended its Sirocco HD range of microduct cables with an 864f cable for TTX and 5G networks.

The cable features 864 fibers in a 11-mm diameter, providing a fiber density of 9.1 fibers/mm2, which can be installed in a 13-mm duct. Sirocco HD microduct cables use the BendBright-A2 200-µm single-mode, bend-insensitive fiber, providing a solution for evolved systems that is compatible with any already-installed legacy G652 fiber.
