PriorScientific.jpgPrior Scientific Inc. has introduced the NZ500CE NanoScanZ Piezo 500, a micron stage system for deconvolution and for 3-D imaging techniques. It offers 5-nm repeatability and 500-μm movement and includes closed-loop control utilizing a subangstrom-resolution piezo resistive sensor and RS-232/USB or analog (0 to 10-V) control. It is compatible with software that already has been programmed to control piezo objectives. The system has a step response of 15 ms, a typical in-plane tilt of 20 μrad and an operating temperature range of 5 to 50°C.
