The Seed Genomics microplate from Porvair Sciences Ltd. is a strong, reinforced, polypropylene deep well plate with matching polypropylene cap mats.
Extra ribbing underneath the plate supports its use in a GenoGrinder bead beater system. The plates can survive four minutes of bead beating with barley seeds, a hard carpel to crack, in a GenoGrinder system at 1750 rpm using a 6-mm steel grinding ball.
The ultra-clean microplate is designed for use in the life sciences and synthetic chemistry fields, among others.
