Microplate Reader

Mar 2010
Biochrom Ltd.Request Info
The Asys UVM340 Fastie-Ebert monochromator-based microplate reader has been introduced by Biochrom Ltd. The holographic grating enables users to select the exact wavelength, from 340 to 800 nm at 1-nm intervals, to measure optical density and absorbance for their applications, without the need to buy extra filters or change instruments to perform different assays. The single-channel reader is suitable for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and other absorbance applications, and it can measure any plate format from 12 to 384 wells. It reads a 96-well plate in 25 s. Front loading facilitates integration into automated systems, and the compact footprint saves bench space. The CE-marked reader uses a 30-W tungsten halogen lamp as the light source and delivers a bandwidth of <3 nm.
