Microscope Illumination DeviceCoolLED Ltd. has announced the pE-300lite compact microscope illumination device.

Designed to fit most microscopes, the pE-300lite is configured for everyday fluorophores such as DAPI, FITC, TRITC and Cy5.

The device attaches straight onto microscopes' epi-fluorescence port, with simple adjustment optimizing the white light output. Instant on and off is available through a simple desktop control pod.
