Microscope StagePrior Scientific Instruments Ltd. has announced the H105 ProScan Microscope Stage for precision mapping of large specimens including semiconductor wafers, photo masks, printed circuit board and other material science applications.

Delivering precise motorized movement in small steps of 0.04 µm, the stage is adaptable with a variety of sample holders, and it can be used with many larger, upright microscopes or optical systems. The H105 provides a travel range of 154 × 154 mm and XY repeatability of ±0.7 μm.

The use of intelligent scanning technology minimizes metric errors and eliminates the need for encoder scales.
