Olympus Europa Holding GmbH has released the Olympus Stream 1.6 version materials science microscopy imaging software that includes features to increase work flow efficiency and enhance the capabilities of the software. It is compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit operating system, making it fully compatible with new computers. New optional modules include layer thickness measurement, cast iron analysis and nonmetallic inclusion rating in steel. They enable users to build a system to meet their requirements and provide a customized work flow to suit any materialographic analysis. The software enables users to integrate images, charts, workbooks and documents from a variety of sources. They can now create standard Word templates and use the Report Composer for drag-and-drop selection of templates and content for the report.
