Microscopy Temperature Control System
Boston Electronics CorporationRequest Info
The VAHEAT microscopy temperature control system from Linnowave GmbH has been announced by Boston Electronics Corp.
VAHEAT locally controls sample temperature, even when working with an immersion medium. Users can avoid excessive heating of the objective or other optical components while benefiting from fast and precise temperature feedback. The sample is prepared on a smart substrate that is equipped with a transparent heating element and a precise temperature probe. Heating rates of up to 100° C/s enable new types of experiments while ensuring temperature stabilization.
The system features thermal control in the field-of-view, which is essential for applications in high-resolution microscopy.
