For microscopic enzyme-linked immunospot examinations in tumor, AIDS and vaccine research and in the routine lab, Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH has announced the KS Elispot and compact KS Elispot 4.9 software. Used with an AxioCam MRc Rev. 3 digital color camera, its enhanced color recognition more distinctly separates spots in double markings. In combination with a Zeiss Axio Imager microscope, fluorescence equipment and the camera, the system evaluates separated fluorescence-marked specimens. And used with the 2.5x EC Epiplan Neofluar objective lens, it provides faster evaluation and higher specimen throughput with very high resolution.
