Microspectrophotometer
CRAIC TechnologiesRequest Info
Craic Technologies Inc. has announced the addition of Raman microspectroscopy capabilities to its 20/20 Perfect Vision microspectrophotometer. Users now can acquire Raman spectra with lasers from the blue to the near-infrared, in addition to UV/VIS/NIR absorbance, reflectance, fluorescence and emission microspectra.
The 20/20 PV acquires all these spectra of even submicron samples rapidly and acquires them from the same area because it features proprietary optical aperturing technology. It acquires images of these same microscopic samples in the UV, visible and NIR regions. It is used for developing nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes, for studying various types of biological samples, including vision research, and for analyzing forensic samples and measuring thin-film thickness in the semiconductor and optics industries.
The microspectrophotometer is a self-contained unit that features UV/VIS/NIR light sources, solid-state lasers, true UV/VIS/NIR microscopy, sensitive UV/VIS/NIR-range spectrometers and MINERVA spectral software. Raman microspectroscopy is added with the Apollo Raman microspectroscopy packages.
Each Apollo is a self-contained package including laser, spectrometer and hardware, and multiple Apollo units with different lasers may be combined on the 20/20 PV.
