ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 23, 2018 — Mid-Travel Linear StagesThe MTN-BHLS series of mid-travel linear stages from Newport Corp. has been announced by MKS Instruments Inc.

The robust, all-steel construction stages combine high load capacity with excellent stiffness and thermal stability. They are ideal for all applications that require moving heavy loads at high speeds with very fine repeatability.

Available in 100-, 200-, and 300-mm travel versions, the MTN-BLHS stages can bear up to a 100-kg centered load when mounted horizontally. The axial load capacity is 20 kg. Linear guides guarantee a smooth and accurate motion trajectory while the nonmigrating ball cage design prevents drift and ensures high dynamics and a long lifetime.
