IRVINE, Calif., March 20, 2012 — Newport Corp. has unveiled its high-precision stainless steel Suprema SN200 series mirror mounts for 50.8-mm-diameter optics.

The clear edge mirror mounts are compact, enabling unencumbered access to the edge of the mirror. They are available in either right- or left-handed versions for situations where the mirrors have to touch or be in proximity. The mounts are available with two or three locking actuators, rendering them suitable for demanding research applications.

The precision mounts use micropolished carbide pads and 100-thread-per-inch adjustment screws, which enable smooth, high-resolution alignment and good stability.
