JENA, Germany, Sept. 26, 2014 — A new two-axis tilting system from piezosystem jena offers precise positioning of optical components like mirrors or prisms at up to several hundred Hertz.

The PSH25 OEM accommodates components up to 25.4 mm in diameter and has a tilting range of ±20 mrad in an open loop or ±16 mrad in a closed loop. The system can be equipped with an integrated positioning sensor. A previously established tilt range can be set and is reproducible.

Applications include laser scanning, laser beam stabilization, image processing and stabilization, optical filters and switches and scanning microscopy.
