RONKONKOMA, N.Y., March 24, 2016 — Mirrorless Camera SystemsSigma Corp. of America has announced the high-performance, compact Sigma sd Quattro and Sigma sd Quattro H mirrorless camera systems with Foveon Quattro sensors.

The Sigma sd Quattro features an advanced photo system type-C-sized sensor, with the Sigma sd Quattro H featuring a larger APS-H sized sensor for even higher image quality. A magnesium alloy body make the devices durable and rugged, while a dust- and splash-proof design makes them ideal for photographers facing harsh conditions.

A two-mode autofocus detection combines phase detection for focus speed and contrast detection for focus accuracy. Focus settings include movement prediction, face detection, free movement, focus peaking and more.
