Modal Deformable MirrorModal deformable mirror for use in adaptive optics. It provides an excellent correction of the common optical aberrations at large amplitude and with high precision. With seven or eight control channels, each of them corresponding to one optical mode, the control is straightforward. It was designed to be easily integrated into systems with embedded electronics and standard tube packaging.
