GOLDEN, Colo., April 7, 2021 — Mode-Locked Laser SourceThe Menhir-1550 ultrastable mode-locked laser source from Menhir Photonics AG has been announced by Vescent Photonics LLC.

Operating at GHz-repetition rates, the laser produces transform-limited <250-fs pulses in a hermetically sealed package designed to operate 24/7. It features extremely low phase noise and timing jitter. The phase noise PSD is down to the instrument limit of -145 dBc before 100 kHz. And integrated from 1 kHz to 10 MHz, the timing jitter is under 10 fs.
