Edmund's Modular Magnification System is designed for flexible OEM integration. With a wavelength range of 486 to 656 nm, it allows users to mix and match objectives with rear assemblies to meet a variety of working distances and field-of-view requirements.
These components are available in nominal working distances of 67, 91, 116 and 141 mm, with a resolution as high as 114 line pairs per millimeter. They include ±8 mm of focus adjustment for a range of fields-of-view and working distances with one set of components.
A variety of sensor sizes can be used with these objectives to a maximum CCD format of 2/3 in. At this size, distortion as low as 0.13 percent can be achieved. When used with a smaller sensor, even lower distortion values are reachable. An in-line illuminator is also available for use with this system.
