CHELMSFORD, Mass., Dec. 14, 2020 — MonochromatorThe Model 234/302 Monochromator from McPherson Inc. is designed for UV spectroscopy, separating light into constituent wavelengths.

The system is available with a series of aberration-corrected diffraction gratings, which allow users to tune performance anywhere from 30 to 1100 nm. 234/302 optics have wavelength optimized reflective coatings of platinum, aluminum, and aluminum enhanced with magnesium fluoride. Grating densities range from 2400 to 300 grooves/mm.

The monochromator comes with masterpiece gratings for high instrument performance and low scatter. Customized gratings are available for special tasks.
