Euresys - More Copper to Fiber Conversions

Euresys and Vieworks respond to increasing requirements for image speed, size, resolution and distributed vision.

Euresys has a strong record of anticipated collaboration with camera makers, and Vieworks is no exception to this joint effort.

For their latest generation Vieworks 9K TDI Linescan cameras due to be released in Q4/2023, the Euresys Coaxlink QSFP+ frame grabber allows the channeling of the pixel data up to 543/435/300 kHz (8/10/12 bit/px) with the very good sensitivity provided by the new Vieworks Back-Side Illuminated image sensor.

Aimed at the Flat Panel Display, wafer, and PCB inspection applications on one side and microscopy or metrology on the other side, the evolution from a Quad Coaxial link accommodating the throughput to a fiber interface will significantly ease the machine integration and cabling as well as allow throughput over longer distances without curtailing performance.

Synchronization of the vision flow and user’s process is greatly eased thanks to the 20 user programmable high speed I/Os of the Coaxlink Frame Grabber.

The Euresys CustomLogic functionality also offers extra processing power and memory capacity for on-board customized image processing and analysis at no extra CPU load.

For applications where multiple cameras or frame grabbers are required to capture a large field of view at the required resolution and speed, the Euresys eGrabber Driver also allows the seamless integration and stitching of the multiple image data flows. Doing so provides a single image for further processing by the user application and/or Euresys Open eVision image analysis libraries.

All these hardware and software processes can be conveniently monitored by the Euresys eGrabber Memento event logging tool contributing to faster product development as well as in the field support.
