Mikrotron GmbH has released the MotionBlitz CVR compact versatile recorder for video capture in industrial and research applications.

The device captures up to 12 s of 2336 × 1728-pixel video at 560 fps and up to 14.8 s of 1080p video at 900 fps. It can also be configured to record up to 35,000 fps in smaller image formats.

Its 80 × 80 × 53-mm footprint and C-mount configuration allow the camera to be positioned for optimum imaging geometry without interfering with the subject.
