PITTSBURGH, Aug. 10, 2023 — Version 2.5 of the Automation1 motion control platform from Aerotech increases both galvo and gantry support. The product includes an added tool center point (TCP) socket interface allowing users to communicate between the Automation1 controller and other devices over TCP. A customizable human machine interface allows customizable access to specific MachineApps, with graphical helper modules to enable users to visually verify proper hall sensor operation. The laser scan head allows users to change galvo calibration and power correction files without resetting the controller.
