Piezosystem Jena motion control stagesOffered by Piezosystem Jena GmbH, motion control stages with a travel range up to several millimeters can be used as single units or in combination with piezoelectric stages for a variety of applications. The new line includes goniometers, rotation drives and linear drives, each with a controller and software.

The rotation stages can be used for the continuous rotating of an element or as a step positioner. The rotation drives have applications in probe manipulation and positioning, research and development or industrial tasks.

The linear stages provide a travel range of up to 50 mm.

With the goniometer, the company offers a system for adjusting angles with high precision. This element is characterized by an angle range of ±15° and is driven by a stepper motor over a worm gear. The stages can be operated using a stepper motor controller, which allows the user control of many parameters, including current position, velocity and acceleration.
