YOKNE’AM ILLIT, Israel, Jan. 3, 2022 — The UDMxa EtherCAT drive from ACS Motion Control Ltd. can be controlled by any SPiiPlus series motion controller.

The UDMxa features a powerful multiprocessor architecture and includes universal motor and encoder technology. Advanced capabilities like ServoBoost, MIMO gantry control, high-speed position event generation, and axis position capture enable high accuracy and throughput. It features advanced PIV cascaded control loop, cascaded dual feedback control, loop shaping filters, and a 20-kHz fixed servo sampling and update rate.

The UDMxa can be used for new machine designs and existing UDMba and UDMhp users.
