The Uniblitz AI25 from Vincent Associates is a motorized iris diaphragm that allows for the remote control of a variable 25-mm aperture.

The AI25 Auto Iris’ electronically controlled aperture is ideal for remote light attenuation or depth-of-field control. The device features an operation range from 1.5 to 25 mm in 54 discrete steps, as well as a closing speed of 0.22 s, 4 msec per step.

The AI25’s low-profile form factor allows it to be used in applications where spatial limitations are a consideration. An optional housing provides a compact package with no externally protruding components and two flat mounting surfaces. An OEM version of the device will also be available.
