Newport Corp. has announced vacuum-compatible versions of its MTN series of midtravel steel linear stages.

All MTN vacuum stages are equipped with stepper motors designed for vacuum environments. The devices have been tested for vacuum levels down to 10−6 hPa.

The stages are available with 100-, 200- or 300-mm travel length and feature all-steel construction for stiffness, thermal stability and high load capacities up to 100 kg.
