Omnidirectional ProjectorThe allPIXA evo line scan 10-GigE cameras from Chromasens GmbH feature multi-channel flash, simultaneously triggering up to four different controller channels synchronized to the flash line.

The cameras allow for the acquisition of multiple images of the exact same scene, with each image showing different illumination geometries and colors. By having one camera capture multiple images within a single scan, a considerable amount of time and money is saved without compromising quality. Various types of defects are captured including minuscule cracks, scratches, stains, chipping, or foreign particles. Combining multiple illuminations in a single scan also gives inspection systems the capability to overcome the challenges of a shiny surface of an object.

The allPIXA evo also has a separate flash mode that captures multi-exposure images during a single scan. A high signal-to-noise ratio assures high quality in color imaging where dynamic range is critical to success. The camera's fiber interface greatly expands the horizons of vision systems traditionally limited to cable lengths of a few meters to 300 m or more.
