Multi-Wavelength Fiber Combiners for QCLArt photonics demonstrated mid-IR fiber combiners based on a silver halide (PIR) fiber with high transmission in the 5- to 16-μm spectral range. These fiber combiners allow multiple QC lasers with different wavelengths and stable transmission under small bending radius. PIR fiber combiners are flexible and cost-effective compared to bulky mirror and beamsplitter combiners, and they are in high demand for a variety of applications, including gas sensors.
