Multi-Wavelength Meter
Bristol Instruments Inc.Request Info
The 438 Series Multi-Wavelength Meter from Bristol Instruments Inc. measures the wavelength, power and optical signal-to-noise ratio of as many as 1000 discrete optical signals.
The meter combines Michelson interferometer-based technology with fast Fourier transform analysis. Wavelengths are measured to an accuracy as high as ± 0.3 pm, power is measured to an accuracy of ± 0.5 dB, and optical signal-to-noise ratio is automatically calculated to >40 dB. A measurement rate of 10 Hz enables a reduction in wavelength testing times, resulting in greater manufacturing productivity. A broad operational wavelength range from 1000 to 1680 nm covers all optical communications bands.
With high accuracy, a fast measurement rate, straightforward operation and a rugged design, the 438 model provides precise, reliable and efficient wavelength-division multiplexing testing to meet the needs of demanding applications.
