ATHOL, Mass., March 3, 2021 — Multi-Sensor Vision SystemThe AVR300 Multi-Sensor Vision System from the L.S. Starrett Co. now features a 0.14× lens featuring a 2.36 × 1.90-in. field of view.

Its superimage technology allows multiple images to be stitched together to form one larger image, and with the system’s AVR-FOV 0.14X touch probe technology, it can accurately inspect a wide range of features on large and complex or multiple, small parts. The AVR-FOV 0.14X automated part programs deliver accurate results to the µm level in seconds, and data is provided in one easy-to-interpret report, allowing metrology users in manufacturing facilities or quality control labs to produce accurate, fast, and repeatable results.

Auto part recognition enables the creation of a part measurement program that comprises the desired features of a part for inspection, which can automatically be saved in the system or to a network. Programmable light output options can be built into the program as defined steps.
