BARRINGTON, N.J., Aug. 23, 2011 — Edmund Optics has announced multiband filters that feature multiple passbands on a single filter for real-time live-cell analysis and high-speed imagery. They offer high peak transmission with good blocking, yielding maximum brightness and contrast for simultaneous viewing of multiple fluorophores.
Each filter is hard-coated and then mounted in a 25-mm-diameter black anodized housing for durability and ease of handling.
Eight dual-band models with passband wavelengths from 387 and 480 nm to 577 and 690 nm are available, as are five models of tri-band types with passband wavelengths from 387.5, 478 and 555.5 nm to 465, 537 and 623 nm. Four quad-band models with passband wavelengths from 387, 485, 559.5 and 649.5 nm to 446, 523.5, 600 and 667 nm also are offered.
The filters are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
