Specialised Imaging's multichannel framing cameras (SIM) are ultrahigh-speed instruments that provide wide applications flexibility to university research groups.

Using high-resolution image intensifiers, a no-compromise optical design and double pulsing, the high-throughput SIM cameras’ optical design offers up to 16 separate channels without compromising resolution, shading or parallax. The innovative auxiliary view port contributes to their versatility.

The design allows even occasional users to achieve top quality results. Comprehensive triggering facilities, accurate timing control and a wide range of output signals, coupled with a software package that includes full measurement and image enhancement functions, simplify image capture. Full remote operation using Ethernet connectivity is standard, enabling the SIM models to be easily integrated into almost any environment.

The cameras are suitable for use in academic research in fields such as automotive testing, biomedical and combustion research, failure dynamics, impact studies, nanotechnology and materials science.
