Carl Zeiss MicroImaging Inc. has launched a multidiscussion system for Axio Scope and Axio Imager light microscopes. Its 23-mm field of view provides an overview of the large specimen section and enables up to 21 individuals to view the identical image field and orientation simultaneously, regardless of the system configuration. The number of workstations can be adapted to the situation, and they can be arranged in a straight line or in as many right angles as needed. Suitable for training and consulting, the system can be used for assessing difficult specimens in medical diagnostics, including histologically stained transmitted-light tissue sections or blood smears.
