OmicronLaserage.jpgFrom Omicron Laserage Laserprodukte GmbH, multiline diode lasers from the LDM series allow dual, triple or quadruple emission at wavelengths from 375 to 1064 nm. Each wavelength can be independently set for continuous wavelength operation, for digital modulation at up to 500 MHz, for analog modulation at up to 350 MHz or for Deepstar modulation at up to 200 MHz. Beam diameter can be adjusted from 0.5 to 25 mm, and rms noise is <2.5% from 20 Hz to 500 MHz. The company says that the product — available with single- and multimode fiber couplings and suitable for microscopy and flow cytometry applications — consumes less energy, occupies less space and has a longer life span than multiline gas laser systems.
