FRIESOYTHE, Germany, June 17, 2015 — With mechanical stability and functional integrity, radiation-resistant multimode fibers from the Leoni Special Fiber Cables GmbH register lower radiation-induced attenuation readings than other multimode fibers.

Even when exposed to increased radiation in CT scanners, the attenuation of the fibers remains virtually constant. The fibers can be supplied individually but also in any desired cable variant such as hybrid cables, breakout versions and in assembled form.

The fibers feature high bandwidth, easy handling and good spliceability.
