Coherent.jpgThe Chameleon optical parametric oscillator from Coherent Inc. enables multiphoton excitation microscopy, including coherent anti-Raman scattering and three-photon imaging, for imaging deep into living and fixed tissue. Based on periodically poled crystals, the device is designed as a turnkey accessory for any member of the Chameleon Ultra line of ultrafast, tunable, one-box Ti:sapphire lasers, which provide rapid tuning between 680 and 1080 nm. It extends that wavelength range, providing gap-free tuning from 680 to 1580 nm.
