Multispectral Prism CameraThe FS-3200T-10GE-NNC Fusion Series prism-based camera from JAI Inc. features three separate multispectral wavebands.

The device uses a dichroic prism that divides incoming light to three separate CMOS imagers while maintaining a common optical path, enabling the simultaneous capture of a 3.2-MP Bayer color image plus 3.2-MP images from two separate NIR bands of 700- to 800 nm and 820- to 1000 nm, all with pixel-to-pixel alignment at up to 107 fps. It features Bayer and monochrome versions of the Sony Pregius IMX252 CMOS sensor.

By splitting the NIR information into low and high bands, the FS-3200T-10GE-NNC helps designers of multispectral systems deliver better results by leveraging how some biological substances in life sciences, food, chemicals, and other materials applications appear or fluoresce differently when viewed in various portions of the NIR spectrum.
