FluxData Inc. has released the FD-1665 series three-CCD cameras, available in 1.4-, 2- and 5-megapixel resolutions using Sony ICX-285, -274 and -625 CCDs, respectively. Users can choose a preconfigured 3-, 5-, 7- or 9-channel camera, or can configure the system with any combination of color and monochrome sensors and custom filters. With separate 1394a/b FireWire connectivity, the device has applications in medical imaging, food processing and timber inspection.
