OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada, May 24, 2012 — Iridian Spectral Technologies Ltd. is offering multizone filters on a single substrate. The company’s newly enhanced capabilities enable it to provide robust multifilter assemblies and multizone filters patterned using photolithography.

The filters can be customized for size, spectral performance and layout (number and size of zones) to address customer needs for optical filters for order sorting and multispectral imaging. Available are antireflection coatings, long- or short-pass filters, and bandpass filters from the UV (300 nm) to the long-wavelength infrared (15 μm) integrated on the same substrate. The filters are fabricated using proprietary hard dielectric coating technology.
