Hamamatsu Corp. has released a NIR miniature spectrometer for process measurements. Optimized for carbon-hydrogen combinational calculation of substances such as asphaltene, cellulose and carbonate, the C11118GA measures all wavelengths from 900 to 2550 nm simultaneously. It comes with USB 2.0-compatible sample software for setting measurement conditions, acquiring and saving spectrum data, and displaying data graphs. Featuring cooled-type low noise, it offers a wavelength conversion factor that can be recorded in the internal memory. It delivers maximum spectral resolution of 20 nm, wavelength reproducibility of ±0.8 nm and wavelength temperature dependence of ±0.08 nm/°C.
