NIR SpectrometerAvantes BV has announced the Ava-Spec-NIR 2.5-HSC NIR compact, high-sensitivity spectrometer.

The system is based on a 100-mm optical bench with a NA of 0.13 offering optimal balance between resolution and sensitivity. The 2.5-HSC series features 256- or 512-p InGaAs detectors and are available in multiple configurations.

The instrument is designed for analysis of grain, corn, wheat, soya and polymers, as well as medical uses, process monitoring and other analysis.
