Arcoptix_NIRSpectrometer.jpgThe ARCSpectro-NIR series from Arcoptix SA is a miniature Fourier transform spectrometer based on microelectromechanical system scanning technology. The fiber-based device operates with a single photodiode detector, and it is USB powered. Four models covering the spectral range from 500 to 2600 nm are available, with either an InGaAs or a Si-InGaAs detector. They offer a measurement time of 2.5 ms, a wavelength accuracy of less than 0.5 nm and a sampling rate of 2 MHz. Applications include gas detection, environmental monitoring, materials identification and process control.
