Edmund.jpgEdmund Optics Inc. has introduced its TechSpec OD6 rugate notch filters, which provide 92% transmission from 350 to 2000 nm. The narrowband reflectors exhibit an OD >6 rejection for the center wavelength, with >99.5% reflectivity. Manufactured with a single coating layer having a continuous sinusoidally varying refractive index, they feature ripple of <5% and no harmonic reflections. Filters are available with a center wavelength of 532, 632 or 1064 nm. All have a 25-mm diameter, a thickness of 2.54 nm and a clear aperture of 22 mm, and all are mounted in a black anodized aluminum ring.
