The Nano-LPS series of XYZ closed loop nanopositioners is ideal for applications where high stability and sub-nanometer precision in motion is required. The Nano-LPS series uses true flexure design, piezo motion, and our proprietary PicoQ® sensors giving outstanding performance. With ultra-low position noise, high stability, and sub-nanometer precision the Nano-LPS series is well suited for applications such as super-resolution microscopy, optical tweezers, and atomic force microscopy. The nanopositioners incorporate a large center aperture, for transmission of light, and can accept 75mm slides, coverslips, and 35mm petri dishes making it suitable for life science applications. In addition, the Nano-LPS series slim profile allows ease of integration with commercial inverted optical microscopes, leading microscope stages, and Mad City Labs RM21™ microscope. Low noise Nano-Drive® controllers complete the nanopositioning system and produce optimum performance from Nano-LPS series nanopositioners.
The controller includes PicoQ® sensor electronics, proportional integral feedback control, and 150V amplifiers. Combined with a wide range of options such as 16-bit or 20-bit USB digital interface, synchronization interface, and compatibility with a wide range of third party software the Nano-LPS nanopositioning system is the leading choice for advanced microscopy applications worldwide.
