GARDENA, Calif., June 6, 2016 — Nanopositioning Stage CC Design Development Inc. has announced the LaserStraight nanopositioning stage for submicron accuracy.

An accuracy of 250 to 800 nm is achievable depending on the position sensing device that is used. The system eliminates the requirement for large granite blocks and high tolerances in manufacturing. It also eliminates the need for mapping.

The LaserStraight optical assembly measures 112 × 32 × 16 mm and uses a 1-mW, 650-nm laser module.
