Available from the DTI-NanoTech division of Discovery Technology International LLLP, the NanoRobot-6AX combines an X-Y-Z 100-mm-travel-range nanopositioning platform with DTI’s RoboMate robotic system. It is suitable for applications such as microscopy and microcircuit inspection, micro- and nanopositioning, microchip probing, laser and fiber optic alignment, laser damage testing, x-ray orientation and microsurgery. The six-axis fully automated nanopositioning system incorporates DTI’s Virtual Point technology, which allows the tip of the probe/tool to remain fixed at a point while its angle of approach to the target can be varied continuously. The system includes a digital signal processing controller, Windows XP software and joysticks.
