Single-Frequency and Narrow-Linewidth LasersCobolt AB has announced new wavelengths on its 08-01 series of single-frequency and narrow-linewidth lasers.

The new 457-, 473-, 515-, 660- and 1064-nm wavelengths complement the already-existing wavelengths of 405, 532, 561 and 785 nm. The 08-01 series is ideal for Raman spectroscopy applications. It consists of high-performance, ultracompact, single-longitudinal-mode diode-pumped lasers up to 400 mW and narrow-linewidth diode lasers up to 500 mW, all with high wavelength stability and spectral purity.

With totally integrated electronics, an integrated optional optical isolator, and cleanup filter, the lasers from the 08-01 series are easily integrated into high-end Raman-based systems or other analytical instrumentation.
