Thorlabs’ new Spontaneous Parametric Down-Conversion Source (SPDC810N) is a benchtop photon-pair source with an integrated narrow-linewidth, adjustable-power pump laser. Temperature control of the SPDC crystal allows for spectral tuning of the photon pairs in and out of degeneracy at 810 nm. This turnkey source offers the reliability, brightness, and support of a commercial solution needed to reduce the barrier to performing single-photon interaction experiments and quantum metrology.
