ANSAN, South Korea, Dec. 7, 2017 — Natural Spectrum LEDsThe SunLike Series of natural spectrum LEDs from Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd. implements light that closely matches the spectrum of natural sunlight.

SunLike received the RG-1 rating in Eye Safety certification for their natural light LEDs, which apply TRI-R technology from Toshiba Materials. The RG-1 rating is granted to safe light sources that carry no biological risk, even with lifetime exposure. The RG-1 rating for a 25-W single light source widely used for commercial and residential lighting is highly significant; this is the first time a natural light source with that rating has been commercialized.

SunLike LEDs eliminate the blurring problem that occurs with most other artificial light sources and, as a result, the unique color and three-dimensional texture of the object remains intact.
