Nd:YAG LasersThe Q-smart HE series of Nd:YAG lasers from Quantel Laser and LUMIBIRD SA are flash lamp-pumped amplified lasers that can reach up to 2.3 J/pulse while maintaining high beam quality and stability.

The Q-smart 2300 offers an energy of up to 2.3 J @ 1064 nm at a repetition rate of 10 Hz. The Q-smart 1200 and 1500 are further enhanced with new control electronics that allow repetition rates up to 20 Hz. Using Q-smart technology, the lasers feature plug-and-play, temperature-controlled harmonic generators that allow the user to choose between various wavelengths of 1064, 532, 355, and 266 nm. The single longitudinal mode option for linewidth narrowing allows the specifications of these lasers to be adapted to demanding applications in ablation, flash photolysis, holography, interferometry, lidar, and more.
