Featuring low thermal resistance, high radiant intensity and ultracompact size, the HIR-C19D series of near-infrared LEDs from Everlight Electronics outputs at 855 nm, delivering 3 W of power.

The diodes achieve a radiant intensity of 350 mW/sr at 700 mA with a viewing angle of 90°, illuminating the observation area. The Pb-free device is offered in a miniature surface-mount device package, molded in water clear silicone with a spherical top view lens.

With a wavelength nearly invisible to the human eye, the HIR-C19D series is suited for IR illumination in CCD cameras, night security and other discrete surveillance systems.
